CoolRack™ Thermally Conductive Racks
CoolRack Thermoconductive Tube Rack Modules are precision engineered rack modules made from a new thermally conductive alloy material, designed to evenly distribute temperature across all wells and provide a uniform and consistent temperature to all samples (+/-0.1°C).
CoolRack modules eliminate the variability that comes from tubes placed directly in ice, dry ice, alcohol baths, water baths, and other temperature sources. They ensure temperature uniformity of +/- 0.1 °C in all tubes during cooling, rapid freezing, heating or thawing.
Recommended applications include refrigeration of reagents such as restriction enzymes, dNTPs and antibodies, rapid freezing of tissues, virus and bacteria samples with alcohol-free dry ice, and bench-top cryogenic sorting of tubes in liquid nitrogen.
All CoolRack modules can be autoclaved, sterilized by high heat, or decontaminated with alcohol or other disinfectants or laboratory cleaners.
