Using full-wavelength white LED light as the excitation light source, the white light mode exhibits softness and uniformity and is applicable to the observation or imaging of SDS-PAGE gels stained with Coomassie Blue or Silver Stain.

It can also be used as a simple film viewing transilluminator for X-ray film inspection for research or clinical purposes.

With the light intensity adjustment function, the light intensity can be contrast adjusted in three levels according to the observation requirements to achieve the best image quality.

The hinge-free design offers simplicity, safety and convenience to the user and will not cause any damage to the filter near the hinges. No protective glasses are required for gel observation and sectioning.

It prevents interference from reflected light caused by side lighting, thereby improving the quality of observation and image. Because LED lights are durable and safe, they do not cause damage to the eyes and skin or the experimental sample as commonly occurs with UV radiation.

By adjusting the light intensity and contrast based on the amount of sample or observation requirements, the best observation or display quality is achieved.
